We want this site to be usable by as many visitors as possible. Interactive elements show a visible keyboard focus, and images include descriptive text alternatives so the content makes sense with a screen reader or when images do not load.
Photo galleries open in a lightbox that you can close with the Escape key. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site respects that setting and limits animation to keep pages calmer and easier to follow.

We want everyone to be able to use this website to learn about deck projects and request an estimate. This page describes what we aim for and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
What do we aim for on this site?
We aim for a site you can navigate with a keyboard alone and use with a screen reader. Pages are designed to respect the reduced motion setting on your device.
Links should describe where they lead, and meaningful photos should carry text alternatives that explain what they show. Decorative images are meant to stay out of the way of assistive technology.
We check pages as we add and update them, and some areas may still need work. Your reports help us find those spots.
How do photo viewers and forms work?
Photo viewers and forms on this site are designed for keyboard and screen reader use. When a large photo opens in a viewer, press Escape to close it and return to the page.
Required form fields are marked, and the form displays a message when a required field is empty or an entry needs a different format. Those messages are meant to appear as text, without relying on color alone.
If a message is hard to find, a label is unclear, or a field does not announce correctly with your assistive technology, please let us know.
How can you report a problem?

You do not need to share personal details or project information to report a problem with the site.
